1.1 This Privacy Policy governs the use by the Manchester Publicity Association of your (“you/your”) data which is available and made available to us in connection with your use of our website, http://www.mpa.org.uk (the “Website”), whether accessed directly or through any other domain name which redirects to the Website. References to “we”, “our”, “us” in this policy is to the Manchester Publicity Association. 2.1 When you use the Website, in particular if you have an online account with us, by logging in to the account you may provide us with personal information about you such as your name, address, date of birth, fax and telephone numbers and email address (“personal information”). We are committed to protecting your privacy, and will only use your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

3.1 We (and our representatives) may use your personal information for the purposes of:
- providing you with details of our activities, including any services which we provide, events which we think may be of interest to you and carrying out research into our membership or Manchester’s Creative and Communications Industries

- ensuring that our Website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer;

- record-keeping and tracking your use of the Website through use of cookies (see below)
3.2 We shall be entitled to use your personal information to provide you with information, products and/or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you.
