The MPA – the independent voice of Manchester’s media and creative community – has announced its chair of judges for the MPA Inspiration Awards 2019. Now in its 7th year the awards were created for the industry by the industry.
Cindy Simmons, managing director of the MPA, said “We are delighted to announce that Liz Bielinska, founder of Planning Express, has agreed to be this year’s chair of judges for the MPA Inspiration Awards 2019.
“Liz Bielinska has been a brand strategist for 25 years. She is a former board director of TBWA Manchester and of Martin Williams Advertising in the USA. Liz set up Planning Express 14 years ago as a pay-as-you-go account planning service to the advertising community. With her team of four, she runs the MPA Express Academy.”
Liz commented “It’s an immense honour to have been invited to chair such an illustrious team of judges for this unique awards event. Manchester is one of the most exciting places on the planet to be working in the media, digital and creative sector – I can’t wait to review the entries and see the amazing quality of talent we have in our city”.
Christian James, managing director of The IF agency and chair of the MPA, added “This year’s lineup of judges is perhaps the most impressive we have assembled. Manchester is home to some of the world’s best brands, business leaders and associations and we are delighted to have them represented on our judging panel.

Judging will take place later this month and the Awards Ceremony is being held on 17th October 2019 at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.
