Cost to enter

MPA members receive their first entry free.

Best of the Best is a free category and will be judged from all entries into campaign and specialists categories.

Business of the year is also free as long as you have opted in when entering another category.

Entries after this are:

• MPA Members – £135 + VAT
• Non members – £155 + VAT

The following categories are also free to enter for all members and non-members:

• College Student Award
• University Student Award
• My Freelance Hero (by nomination only)

Once you have submitted your entry, payment is required through the Awards entry website. Non-payment will result in your entry being void.

Please register ASAP so we know what entries are coming in.

You can save and go back and amend as many times as you like before final submission.

Rules and regulations

• The work submitted must have been created by the nominated company.
• Collaboration must be between companies who are based in Greater Manchester.
• Valid entries submitted must contain work that was created between 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2025 to qualify.
• All entries must not exceed the word count and will be disqualified by judges should this be the case.
• Please note that no judge can judge categories that their own business represents so there is no conflict of interest.
• Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Do not enter the same campaign / project into more than 3 categories and please ensure the entry is written with relevancy to the category you are entering.

College Student Award and University Student Award – Process of Judging:

• Only one entry per person.
• A maximum shortlist of 10, 5 from university entries and 5 from college entries will be selected. All shortlisted entrants will be awarded MPA student membership at a value of £25.
• The shortlist will be forwarded to the MPA judging panel.
• The judges will select 3 finalists from the shortlist for each.
• Each finalist will be invited to attend the 2025 MPA Awards celebration.

The winner will be announced on the night and prize awarded. Prize consists of commemorative award, MPA student membership, career and recruitment advice.

• Keep it simple and easy to understand.
• Get over the key points concisely.
• Demonstrate results – this is what judges are looking for.
• Make it interesting to read and don’t use too many words.
• Do not exceed the word count as this will result in disqualification.
