Last Thursday entries went live for this year’s MPA Inspiration Awards. In their 12th year, we’re incredibly proud that they continue to grow in popularity, with last year’s our most supported yet.
This year we’re delighted to announce a brand new Chair of Judges – Sam Brown, Marketing and Creative Director of N Brown Group PLC – who will be chairing our stellar judging panel which includes leaders from both industry bodies and national and regional businesses. With faces new and old, we are appreciative of their time and experience in bringing this year’s awards together.

We asked two of our veteran judges Pavan Riyat-Ward, CEO at We are The Allies and MPA Honorary Secretary and Marcus Hadfield, Chief Strategy Officer, Apadmi, for their top-tips to help you write that stand-out entry.
Pav’s key advice: “Be clear on the client’s brief and objectives so that you really set the scene for the judges. From there, we’re looking for how you answered the problem and more importantly the results you delivered. Where possible, provide examples of the work you delivered so that we can see your creative and campaign in action.”
Marcus’s winning tips: “To really stand out amongst all the strong submissions, it’s important to clearly state the problem or objectives that the work set out to answer – and to do that in a way that ALL judges understand (not just those who are specialists in your area). Follow that with an interesting story as to how you achieved success. Results or it didn’t happen :-).”
