The MPA is delighted to announce a new charity partner We Love MCR, along with the continued support of Prevent Breast Cancer.
Both are Manchester based charities; Its important for the MPA to put back into our community and support those that need our help right here in our great city.
We Love MCR charity has been solely dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Manchester since their inception in 1997. It is driven by a mission to provide heart, hope, and opportunity to those who need it most in our city. It supports local projects that make a tangible difference in neighbourhoods across the city, and empowers the next generation of Mancunians to succeed despite disadvantage.
We Love MCR has created a unique VIP package for supporters who wish to take part in the Great Manchester Run 2024 on 26th May.
Any runner who agrees to raise sponsorship for We Love MCR Charity will get a full range of exclusive VIP treatment as well as a free place.

Founded in Manchester, Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Unlike many cancer charities, it is focused on preventing, rather than curing. And being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, its is right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.
The next MPA event supporting Prevent Breast Cancer is our newly established Charity Netball Tournament which will take place on 13th June. Bookings will go on live next week.
